Security alarm systems provide a range of services to protect your home, your property and your family. We only use products of a highest standard from alarm and intruder manufacturers, so you can rest assured that your security alarm system will be good quality and the very best in the latest security technology. Whether you are looking for a comprehensive burglar alarm or a monitored CCTV (closed circuit television) setup or an intruder alarm system, our fully qualified engineers can help. As well as fitting, ProElec offer a full maintenance and repair service.
The hard wired systems we fit are built around an integrated control panel with a remote key pad, passive infra-red detectors, door contacts, a battery back-up unit and a live external siren or bell box with a strobe. Wireless systems go in quicker with no mess or disruption, and can be set and unset by phone, with part arming for night mode, an event log with a time and date stamp, a walk test and a chime alert mode. Phone diallers can be fitted to any system, so that when your alarm system detects an intrusion the external siren will sound to alert your neighbours and the dialler will call a number you choose and replay a recorded speech message. For example, it can contact a friend or relative who lives close to your home, who can investigate the alarm and call the police if necessary.
It is important to have your intruder alarm system serviced at least once a year. Regular servicing of an alarm system ensures the system’s reliability and durability. Most insurance companies require proof of alarm maintenance carried out by an approved company. It makes sense and cost less to have regular alarm servicing than breakdown repairs. A service takes in a visual inspection of all major alarm components including cabling and connections where accessible for signs of deterioration or damage, a check of the mains and battery power supplies, a walk test of all detectors, a replacement back-up battery if required, which is very important if the system is more than two or three years old, and a check of all audible warning devices, sirens and speakers.
Whatever your CCTV requirements, ProElec have the technical resources and expertise to professionally install a wide range of high quality CCTV systems at your home or business. CCTV systems are a great way of enhancing security at your home or business. This allows you to keep a watchful eye on your property and loved ones at home or, if you have a business, more importantly it acts as a visual deterrent to deter potential intruders thinking of entering your property or place of business.
It helps to think first about why you want to install a CCTV system, whether that is general security, door entry or site monitoring, and then about the number of different camera views that will be required to meet your requirements, for example the drive way, front door, back door and side gate. From there we can work out the number of channels you need on the recorder now and in the future, the type of camera for each view, where the cameras sit and how the cable is routed back, and whether you want remote viewing access on a suitable smart phone or tablet. We install systems for homes and businesses across Newton-le-Willows, St Helens, Warrington, Wigan and Liverpool. For more information please contact us.
